For Auditors
Knowing SnapOS concepts does not create a SnapOS auditor.
Third-party scale requires versioned, witnessable outputs. Certification requires a later registry and QA layer.
Current status
SnapOS-compatible and SnapOS-conformant are output properties. A person or organization is not certified by self-description, conceptual similarity or use of SnapOS terminology.
The public conformance interface allows auditors and tool builders to prepare output formats without receiving private engine logic.
Readiness path
1. Inspired
Use the public vocabulary, but do not claim compatibility or conformance.
2. Compatible candidate
Map your output to the minimum audit schema and witness set.
3. Conformant output
Pass schema, witnesses, labels, counter-hypothesis, reopen trigger and reliance statement.
4. Certified auditor
TO BE SPECIFIED: qualification, registry, QA, signature and permitted brand use.
