2. Nature and scope of processing
snapos.org is a static website. No analytics scripts, tracking pixels, contact forms, embedded third-party services or cookies are used. No fonts are loaded from external font services; the visual presentation uses local system fonts from the user’s device.
When pages are accessed, the hosting provider processes technical server log data. This may include IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status code, bytes transferred, referrer and user agent. The data is processed for delivery, stability and security and is not merged with other datasets.
If you contact us by email, the data you provide, in particular your email address and message content, is processed to handle your inquiry. Please do not send passwords, API keys, access credentials, private secrets or confidential customer data by email.
3. Legal bases
Server log data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is secure, stable and abuse-resistant website operation. Email inquiries are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, depending on the context of the inquiry.
4. Hosting and processors
The website is operated by IT-Schnittstelle, sole proprietorship / proprietor Marko Chalupa, and is provided using technical infrastructure from Variomedia AG (Emil-von-Behring-Str. 4, 90471 Nuremberg, Germany). The hosting provider processes technical log data solely for operation, stability and security. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place or must be maintained for production operation. This static website does not transfer personal data to third countries outside the EU/EEA.
5. Retention
Server log data is regularly deleted unless a legal retention obligation or a specific security incident requires longer storage. Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to process and document the inquiry; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
6. Data subject rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
7. No cookies / no consent management
This website does not set cookies or access information on the user’s terminal equipment in a way that would require consent management. If analytics, a contact form, embedded services, newsletter functionality, payment services or external media are added later, this privacy notice must be updated before publication.
